@IUP FINALLY

We have all been waiting, for what feels like years, to be back in IUP with our sisters. With classes being hybrid, many of our sisters have been able to come back to Indiana to continue their studies. We know this semester is going to look different than any semester we have had before, but we are excited to get started and stay safe.

We have been back to school for about a week or so now and it has been a blessing to see our best friends. We know this semester is going to be difficult with all of the adjustments that must be made, but we have an amazing group of girls that are always up for the challenge. Even though things are going to be different, we are still going to be able to continue our bond with our sisterhood.

Our chapter is so excited to welcome back our new members from last semester that unfortunately did not get the chance to finish their pledging semester. We are thrilled to announce that out new members are now officially initiated to our chapter. These lovely ladies are Ivy Sepesy, Gi Crespo, Juliann Dawson, Jenna Jessup and Anastasia Benc. Welcome to our sisterhood ladies and we cant wait to celebrate you!

Right before last semester came to an end, our new members were going to become little's and get their big's. A little is a new member in the sorority and they chose a big who is there for the little as a role model. As a big, you become a mentor to our little and a forever friend. Big/little is a special bond and really helps to build a bridge between our new members and our initiates. Our big/little reveal was schedule for last semester which unfortunately left our new members with this experience. Big/little reveal is always such a memorable moment as a new member and as a member of the sorority as well. This is an experience we wanted to give out new members and we did! Below in the photos you can see pictures from our big/little reveal. Our new members were so thrilled to get their big's and we couldn't be more happy.

We are looking forward to officially welcome our new members into our sisterhood- they will finally be initiated this Sunday, August 30. Due to new guidelines regarding Covid-19, initiation will be slightly different than before, however all of the same traditions and values will be instilled. We can't wait to sisters, forever.

As we continue into this semester safely, we are excited to announce that recruitment will be happening hybrid. Although this is new for us, we are excited to welcome new members and excited to share our sisterhood with them.
